If you are birthing at Warragul Hospital and you have a low risk pregnancy, I can provide continuous pregnancy care. This means that you will see me for each appointment during your pregnancy until you go into labour.
I am able to get to know you and your partner and family; provide high level quality care and help you to navigate any concerns or worries you may have in an individualised manner.
I aim to provide a boutique, personalised, pregnancy care service including:
Medical care during your pregnancy
Routine pregnancy investigations and counselling
Birth plan preparation
Postnatal plan preparation
Breastfeeding support
Early parenting support
2- and 6-week post natal consultations
Support for previous birth trauma
Navigating challenging situations
Fetal monitoring (CTG) as required
Standard appointments cost $89 and last 20 minutes (Medicare rebate $51.65)
Long appointments are those that last longer than 20 minutes and cost $175
A higher fee applies at the 28 week appointment - this reflects the additional training and ongoing medical education I am required to undertake in order to provide high quality care to my patients. This fee is $370 but medicare will rebate $347.05 for this appointment.
Other fees may apply for additional services as required.
See my pregnancy appointment outline for more details.

If you have a higher-risk pregnancy or you are birthing at Latrobe Regional Hospital (Traralgon), I provide shared-care during pregnancy. This is a collaborative approach with a specialist Obstetrician where you will mostly see me throughout your pregnancy, but will also see a hospital doctor as required to support a more complicated pregnancy course.
All pregnancy-related services as listed above apply.
This may be applicable in pregnancies affected by:
complex medical conditions
fetal medical conditions
gestational diabetes which is not responding to diet modifications
complex mental health challenges

If you are receiving care in another way throughout your pregnancy, and would like some additional support in formulating a birth plan, I can help you with this.
During a long appointment (30-40 minutes) we will explore your beliefs and feelings about your upcoming birth and draft or consolidate a meaningful birth plan.
Cost: $160
Medicare rebate: $51.65

If you have not received pregnancy care with me, this may be an option for you. An appointment approximately 2 weeks after your birth, to explore your feelings about the birth, how your parenting is going and how to navigate the early days. There is also time to discuss contraceptive options and follow up beyond the first 2 weeks.
This is generally a long appointment.
Cost: $160
Medicare rebate: $79.70
